After you have clicked “Upload Image”, a window will pop up with the files from your hard drive. Navigate through your files to find the image you would like to use. Click on the file and then click “Open”.
If your image is vertical, and you wish to keep it vertical, you may need to add some white space to the sides of the image. Click “Zoom Out” as many times as you need to in order to obtain the desired amount of white space on the sides of your image. Next, select “Crop” and position the gray dotted box where you would like it. You may need to enlarge the gray dotted box by dragging a blue corner to extend the size. When you are finished, select “Accept”.
You may see a line of text below your image that states: “This image does not fit our dimensions. Please adjust it using the crop tool below.” This statement means that the dimensions of your image need to be adjusted so that your image will fit within the set dimensions of the image box on the JustServe page. You can easily adjust the image at this point, using the crop tool located below the image.
To crop the image, click the blue box “Crop”. At this point, you’ll see the gray dotted lines with blue corners, indicating the dimensions your image should be. You can drag any of the four blue corners to crop your image. The gray dotted lines will adjust as you zoom in or out of the image, keeping the dimensions intact. You can also move the entire dimensions box onto a different part of your image to crop your image at that spot.
Once you have adjusted the gray dotted box on the part of your image that you’d like to crop, select the blue box “Accept”. Or, select “Cancel” if you wish to discard the crop change and start the crop process again.
If you are satisfied with the changes you’ve made to your image, check the box next to the statement certifying that you agree with the terms and conditions of the photo you are uploading. To access the terms and conditions, click the blue text.
Click “Upload” when you are ready to upload the photo.
If your image isn’t at least 200 px by 200 px, you’ll need to change the pixel size before you upload it. You can view the pixel size of your image and/or change it in several ways, two of which are outlined below. However, for the best quality, we recommend you use an image that is already at least 200 px by 200 px.
If you would like to prepare your image with the exact dimensions before uploading it, these are the minimum dimensions for each type of image:
-Project page image: 1000px wide X 600px high
-Organization page logo: 500px wide X 500px high
-Organization page background banner: 1024px wide X 340px high
-Success Stories image: 1000px wide X 600px high
File types allowed are: .jpg, .jpeg, or .png
